SCULPTURE:

my sculptural work is created within a conceptual academic framework, however it does not rely solely on art historical references that alienate a non-art audience. utilizing both additive and reductive processes, i deconstruct and recontextualize objects in order to gain and illustrate a deeper understanding of our environment. the resulting installations and projects are approached with a designer’s sensibility and are often audience driven.
